BUCKHANNON — A Buckhannon woman is in jail for allegedly selling a gram of methamphetamine in December 2016.
Christina Faye Brady, 34, of Buckhannon, allegedly sold the substance to a confidential informant of the Buckhannon Police Department within 1,000 feet of West Virginia Wesleyan College, according to the criminal complaint in the Upshur County Magistrate Clerk’s office.
The crystal-like substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
Brady was arrested for delivery/possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, a felony. Lt. Doug Loudin is the investigating officer.
Magistrate Mike Coffman set bond at $75,000.
If convicted, Brady faces imprisonment in the state correctional facility for not less than one year nor more than 15 years and/or fined not more than $25,000. If sentenced to Department of Corrections, Brady would be ineligible for parole for three years.
