BOE offers free “Summer Park Passes” to students and families

BUCKHANNON — If you’re looking for fun ways to spend this summer enjoying the sun, look no further! The Upshur County Board of Education has partnered with the WV Division of Natural Resources and the Upshur County Commission to provide free Summer Park Passes for Upshur County students and their families to get out and have fun together before school starts back again this fall.

The Summer Park Passes will admit one student and up to five additional members of their family to the Upshur County Recreation Park Swimming Pool and the WV Wildlife Center—for FREE, all season!

Whether you’re catching rays and diving into the local pool or exploring and learning about West Virginia’s native species at the WV Wildlife Center, the Upshur County BOE encourages students to take advantage of this opportunity, while staying active and enjoying a well-deserved break.

Summer Park Passes can be picked up at the Upshur Co. Board of Education Office located at 102 Smithfield Street in Buckhannon between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
