BOE approves employments, resignations


BUCKHANNON — The Upshur County Board of Education approved the following personnel changes during their meeting Tuesday evening.

Board members approved the employment of: Margaret Blonn as Community in Schools Facilitator at B-UMS; Coleton Payne as Agriculture Mechanics teacher at B-UHS; Taylor Workman as Fulltime substitute teacher for B-UHS; Caroline Crislip, Tanya Zickefoose, Terri McCann, Marisa Meadows, Amanda Mason, Deidra Casto, Sharon Walton, Susanne Britton, Andrew Scott, Mandi Neely, Jeremiah Smallridge, and Sally Miller Collins as Mentors: Teachers, Counselors, Administration for Upshur County Schools; Carol Clay as SAT Leader for UES; Gabrielle Rhodes as SAT Leader for WDES; Sherri Hoover (BAES), Rena Ziegler (FCES), Jordon Barr (HES), Larry Lantz (RCES), Megan Gray (TES), Morgan Moss (UES), Abigail Poling (WDES), and Paula Snyder (UCS) as Student Council Advisors; Hillary Hulver, Dan Hepler, Sarah Critchfield, Amanda Tenney, Mandi Neely, Kayla Sesco, Marlena Reed, Jordan Barr, Amber Anderson, Shelia Reynolds, Megan Gray, Laura O’Hara, Andrea Westfall, Lauren Cain, Dorian Carrico, Abigail Poling, Tiffany Board, and Taylor Workman as Extracurricular Tutors; Tasha Carpenter, Mandi Neely, Faith Jones, Amanda Webb, Megan Gray, Paige Phillips, and Abigail Poling as National Honor Society Advisors; Soran Jenkins, Brandi Small, Maria Andrews, Heather Wright, Heather Burr, Edith Cox, Stacy Coffield, Leslie Holley, Rachel Kelley, Patricia Casto, Stacey Wolford, Claire Matteson, and Brittany Reynolds as Substitute Aides; Stacey Wolford, Stacy Coffield, and Debrah Smith as Substitute Secretaries; and Mason Fox as Assistant Girl’s Soccer Coach at B-UMS.

Board members approved the resignation of: Jennifer Lilly as Special Education Teacher at B-UHS; Keith Nichols as Social Studies teacher at B-UHS; Ryan Colaw as Math teacher at B-UMS; Shelly Bright as Math teacher at B-UHS; Timothy Bennett as Math substitute at B-UHS; and Miranda Frye as substitute teacher.
