Body Armor MMA to offer new youth program

BUCKHANNON — Body Armor MMA will be starting a new youth MMA class, dubbed the Little Warriors program, for kids ages 4 to 6. The Little Warriors program is set to begin on April 2, 2022. The class will be held one day a week and will be aimed at building a solid fundamental base before preparing participants to move up to the organization’s more advanced youth classes. Body Armor MMA’s Chad Marsh took a moment to offer his thoughts on the new class offered by his gym. “Body Armor MMA’s Little Warriors program will be taught by Blue Belt Becca Marsh. Her lessons will be focused on teaching movements and basic skills associated with beginner-level mixed martial arts. Becca isn’t just a great teacher, she is a talented mixed martial artist in her own right, as she was the 2021 Pan Champion,” said Marsh. “I think that by putting their kids in this class, parents will be giving them the opportunity to participate in a sport that will teach them a great deal of life lessons that will benefit them later in life.” With limited spots available, it is important to reach out and reserve your child’s spot at your earliest convenience. The Little Warriors program will hold practices at 10 a.m. each Saturday, after the April 2 start date. If interested, call (304) 613-4476 to enroll.
