Betty M. Pitcock

Betty M. Pitcock, age 89, of Marble Falls, Texas, formerly of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Granite Mesa Health Center in Marble Falls, Texas. She was born August 18, 1933 in Kanawha Head, W.V.a, a daughter of the Virgil and Brenice Helmick Davidson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gale Pitcock; two sisters: Helen Samples and Louise Hull; and one brother, Edward Davidson.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Lynott and husband Patrick, of Burnet, Texas; two grandpuppies, Timber and Lexi Lynott; one sister, Opal Cunningham, of Bridgeport, W.Va.; two brothers: James Davidson and wife Patricia, of Salem, W.Va., and Gerald Davidson, of Thornton, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pitcock was a homemaker but worked as a nurse’s aid as a young woman. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Buckhannon, W.Va. She enjoyed reading, television, watching football and spending time with friends and family, especially her daughter, Melissa.

Per Mrs. Pitcock’s wishes, she will be cremated in Texas, but there will be no service at this time. A memorial services will be arranged at a later date in Buckhannon, W.Va. Clement-Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of the cremation.
