Berry Bandit Ride welcome hundreds of participants

Participants line the parking lots with ATVs in preparation for an awesome ride.

ELLAMORE — On Saturday, April 23, Carrie Mills and husband Alan hosted the Berry Bandit ATV Poker Run in Ellamore, W. Va. to raise funds for the Annual West Virginia Strawberry Festival. Beginning at the Long Run entrance, the ride was just over 50 miles long with 257 buggies and 492 people in attendance.

“We are very excited and pleased with the turnout of people and the beautiful weather we had for the ride,” expressed Carrie Mills. “We are happy to announce we will be having another West Virginia Strawberry Festival Berry Bandit night ride in October. Please feel free to come out and enjoy the ride with us.”

The high hand raffle winner was Danny Minnix and the low hand raffle winner was John Channel. Special thanks and recognition were given to the sponsors: AFP Logging, Elkins Motorsports, the Ringers family and Mike Ross.
