FAIRMONT – The Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School Buccaneer cheerleaders are putting the final touches on their routine for the East Fairmont Cheer Competition this Saturday at 10 a.m.
The team will be competing against five other teams in the small division.
The team, which practices two hours, six days a week started working on the routine back in September.
“Fans will see a routine filled with stunting, tumbling and dancing for an exciting two minutes and 30 seconds,” remarked coach Ann Osburn.
The team showed the community their routine Friday night during the B-U-Grafton basketball game and then again on Monday during an Open House at the middle school.
“We wanted to show our parents and friends all our hard work we have put into the routine,” concluded Osburn.
