BUCKHANNON — Members of the Buckhannon-Upshur Leo Club helped the Buckhannon Lions Club with their annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 16. The egg hunt was held at the Buckhannon City Park. Leo members gathered at the Lion’s meeting hall at 9 a.m. They helped members of the Buckhannon Lions Club, Tennerton Lions Club and Kesling Mill Lions Club fill and hide eggs. They filled all the eggs with jelly beans to hide in the park.
At around 10 a.m., the Leo Club members went to the park and hid the eggs. At 11 a.m. the park was opened for different age groups to start hunting. There were also lucky eggs hid for each age group that allowed finders to win prizes.
