B-UHS boys’ soccer takes the lead 3 – 2

TENNERTON — The Buckhannon-Upshur High School boys’ soccer team hosted Liberty High School on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. 

After last the game’s defeat by Grafton, the Buccaneers come back strong with a win against Liberty High School. 

Liberty scored the first two goals of the game, one by Noah Mckim and the other by Hayden Dodd. Mckim scored in the 28th minute, crossing the ball and kicking over the goalkeeper. Dodd then followed up by dribbling in and shot on the far post in the 49th minute.

Buccaneers’ player Zach Calef-Boring was assisted by Julien Larcher for the first B-UHS goal of the game in the 71st minute. Seven minutes later, Calef-Boring stole the ball, dribbled it in, and finished in the near post. Buckhannon-Upshur’s Noah Radabaugh scored the winning goal in the last minute in the penalty area after a corner kick and finished at the far post.
