B-U Youth Wrestling to begin registration for 2022-23 season

TENNERTON — The Buckhannon-Upshur Youth Wrestling program, coached by Scott Baron, has announced it has opened the registration period for the upcoming 2022-23 season. The cost of registration is $50 for first child and $40 for each additional child. Singlet rentals will be $20 for those that need to use one. Registration fees will be due at parent meeting or on the first day of practice.

If interested, a parent meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the B-UHS wrestling building, which is the first building on the right as you come up B-U Drive. Items required at the parent meeting include registration payment, a birth certificate or copy and the child. The registration parental waiver consent form, as well as further information can be found on the B-U Youth Wrestling 2022-2023 Facebook page.

With the start of the season quickly approaching, the B-U Youth Wrestling organization is also looking for volunteers to fill coaching positions in the practice room and at tournaments, prior wrestling experience not needed.
