B-U baseball, Post 7 to host Golf Scramble on Oct. 24

BUCKHANNON – The Buckhannon-Upshur baseball team along with the American Legion Post 7 will sponsor their first annual Golf Scramble on Oct. 24 at the Barbour County Country Club.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the golf tournament will start at 10 a.m. The registration fee is $50 per golfer and that includes the green fee, cart rental and lunch.

There will be awards for the top three lowest scoring teams and other specialty awards, skin games and 50/50.

There is a $100 hole sponsorship that includes sign/advertisement at hole, acknowledgement at the event and social media/news outlets. A $250 package deal includes four-man/woman team hole sponsorship.

Registration/sponsorship forms are available at Freedom Bank in Buckhannon and also at the American Legion Post 7 in Buckhannon.
