BUCKHANNON — Eighteen artists showcased multiple art pieces while local musicians Key to Adam entertained the crowds during opening night of “A November to Remember.”
The Infamous Art Collective in association with Blaxxmith presented “A November to Remember” on Saturday evening. The group of artists have been working for months to create pieces for the exhibit. During the exhibit, Blaxxmith and The Infamous Art Collective introduced the community to their newly opened expansion. Local couple Bobbi and Steve Halterman worked in collaboration with Blaxxmith owner Tim Hibbs to help fund the expansion. The entire expansion will help to nurture not only local artists but many amazing local musicians as well. The new space will house more musical performances and has a recording booth.
“This has been in the works for a while and will bring so much to the community,” said Sasha Hibbs, co-owner of Blaxxmith.
Local group Key to Adam was in attendance performing for visitors of the exhibit. The musical stylings of the local artists were stationed directly in front of the expansions sound booth. Local musicians will now be able to join in the fun of creating and performing pieces for the community.
