PARKERSBURG — Arlene Snyder Lantz, 78 of Parkersburg, passed away Jan. 14, 2017 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born Aug. 19, 1938 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Dorsey “Jack” and Vecie (Lower) Snyder.
Mrs. Lantz retired from the Bureau of Public Debt in Parkersburg. She enjoyed oil painting.
Surviving are two daughters: Mary Lea Wolfe of Belpre and Vonnie Lantz of Davisville, four siblings: Junior Harris, Merritt Snyder, Mary Ruth Campbell and Don Snyder, all of Buckhannon, five grandchildren: Joshua Twyman, Rodney Twyman, Stephanie Jarvis, Holly Brookover and Eric Hjelmstad, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vaughn Lantz, her brother Danny Snyder and her son-in-law Jack Wolfe. Memorial services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Independent United Brethren Church in Buckhannon with her brother, Reverend Junior Harris officiating.
