St. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Alice Elizabeth Sheahan, 89, passed away Feb. 19, 2018 in St. Augustine. She was a born in Shinnston, West Virginia to Robert and Elizabeth Boone. She was married to the Late John Sheahan. They lived in West Palm Beach over fifty years before returning to St. Augustine where they called home. Alice was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of St. Augustine enjoyed reading, and fellowship with The Susanna Wesley Circle, and Saints Alive. She loved to travel, trying new restaurants and going shopping.
She is survived by cousins: Sherry and Terry Lowery and family of St. Augustine. Corella Shockey of Ohio, and other family members across the United States. She leaves behind a legacy of friendship and fun in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Always and forever a Mountaineer. There will be a memorial service at First United Methodist Church at 118 King St. St. Augustine FL, 32084 today, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. Her burial will take place at a later date in Buckhannon, West Virginia. The family would like to give a special thank you to Flagler Hospital of St. Augustine for their immense support and care of our love one. Also a thank you to the Community Hospice Bailey Family Center. Through a very difficult time you were able to shed light and help us when we needed it most. The nursing staff was superb and we appreciate everything they did. Also a special thank you to Dr. Pat Turner-Sharpton, and Pastor Randy Strickland.
