2017 West Virginia Strawberry Festival Golf Tournament held at Buckhannon Country Club


TENNERTON – The 2017 West Virginia Strawberry Festival Golf Tournament was recently held at the Buckhannon Country Club.
First place went to the foursome of Kurt Hopwood, Kollin Hopwood, James Sutherland and Ali Forsythe with a 55. Par was 71.
Claiming runner-up honors with a 59 were Jimmy Dean, James Dean, John Moss and Kenny Tenney.
Finishing third with a 60 were Tim Critchfield, Adam Gissy, Matt Gissy and Joe Tenney.
Kurt Hopwood won the longest putt award on No. 7.
Closest to the pin honors went to Ali Forsythe on the 18th hole.
Sharing the closest to the pin, third shot, were Buzz Rhoden, James Dean and Kurt Hopwood.
Chris Brady won the drawing for a one-year membership to the Buckhannon Country Club.
