B-UHS crowns new Homecoming royalty

TENNERTON — The 2017 Homecoming Queen said she felt most comfortable in her Buckhannon-Upshur High School Marching Band uniform or jeans and sneakers. But standing before the student body, faculty and staff, her family and friends in a glittering ballgown, senior Alex Edwards thanked those who pushed her out of her comfort zone.
